EPA’s update summarizes the Remedial Investigation of the Westside Soils Operable Unit which includes areas west and north of Butte as well as the Blacktail Creek watershed south of town. The Westside Soils is the last remaining portion of the Superfund Site to reach the Remedial Investigation milestone.
